What is the whole process like?

I always start engagements with a client-driven end goal in mind, but I am flexible through the process and will make adjustments as needed while still making progress. Here is how a typical engagement looks. First, we have a one-hour strategy call where I take a deep dive into getting to know you as a professional and person. From there, I create your draft and send it your way for review. Then, we continue collaboration through the revision process to refine and perfect your document(s).

How soon will I have a completed resume?

From strategy call through revisions and completion, 2 weeks is a comfortable timeline for high-touch resume development. From there, additional documents are created fairly quickly, usually within 3-5 days. Due to fluctuations in project volume, I give clients real-time turnaround expectations prior to the start of each project.

How do I prepare for the initial strategy call?

I don't ask for much in way of preparation for that first call. I actually prefer stream of consciousness and free flowing conversation. My goal is to capture your voice and authenticity in that first discussion. I will guide the conversation along to be sure it is productive, but you don't need to prepare anything. Just be ready to talk openly!

I have a current resume. Should I send it to you?

Yes! Feel free to send me your current resume to review. I can give you my preliminary thoughts on strong points, weak spots, what I would like to tackle with you, and how your resume will look much different when our work together is complete.

What do the rates include?
